Salty Sway make over!

Out with the old, in with the new! Salty Sway Villas just got a make over. The past couple of weeks have been spent making Salty Sway “brand new”. We got all the old furniture out and got all the new stuff in. The master bedroom got new beds, new memory foam toppers, new nightstands, lamps – the works! All the sheets we use are now luxury Egyptian Cotton sheets. The upstairs bedroom also got a new bed along with new quilts and shams. We are still missing some small decor articles, but with the new dining table and sofa the place looks so much better! And look at that view! You can see the Caribbean Sea from anywhere in the kitchen, dining area or living room. Stay tuned for more updates on Salty Sway!

Refurnishing Salty Sway!

Salty Sway is our newest villa in and we are currently working on refurnishing the entire villa. We are giving it a real do over with all new furniture and decor. For the outside we have brand new dining tables coming. We also have new grills and sun lounges. The dining area is also getting a make over with light and bright new dining furniture and a new rug. As well as new flat screen TVs, sofa tables and lamps the most important new piece in the living room will be the new sofa. It is a convertible sofa that turns into a full bed. All the bedrooms are also undergoing a real makeover. With new tufted and upholstered headboards, desks and accent chairs they will look very nice. We recently just had some new aerials taken of the villa as well! You can’t really get much closer to the Caribbean sea than this! You can also see how close Salty Sway and The Blue Sandcastle are to each other. Check out our latest aerial …

Vacation at The Blue Sandcastle, St. Thomas – Virgin Islands

The weather is starting to get colder and your back in boots and a rainproof jacket (especially if you live in on the coast of Norway!). It’s even starting to get so cold that you need to put an oven on inside your house… And all you can think about is the warmth of the sun. It was so nice those few days this summer when you could use your sundress and sandals without freezing. Well, you can have that feeling again! Jump on a plane and escape to paradise! The Virgin Islands are filled with fun in the sun. From secluded and private beaches to fun beach bars at deserted islands; we got it all! Oh, ups! Don’t forget the cold and chilling drinks served on the beach… Soggy Dollar’s famous “Painkiller”, the “Bushwacker”, the “Island Breeze” or just a refreshing “Pina Colada”. Now how do I get there? Is it super expensive? How about the kids? (or what kids??) Honeymoon materiale? Getting married in paradise? Celebrating my birthday in paradise? Where should I …

Lazy days on the beach…

Here in the Virgin Islands we are enjoying lazy days on the beach…. The picture over is from Limetree Beach located just below our villa. We usually walk down to the beach in about 5 minutes. When going to the beach we always pack a cooler and fill it with cold drinks and some snacks. Sophia and I love to bake banana bread and make some cookies. This is also why it is great to stay at a villa! When you rent a villa you can take full advantage of the kitchen. Make your own food and snacks to bring to the beach.
